Almost ready to go

Ember's five are getting bigger by the day and so cute. They are the softest litter I think we have had yet, although I probably say that each time. There are four fawn and one agouti. I have not tried to determine sex yet. These beautiful German French cross angoras should be ready to go around June 6th.

Ripped from the About Page

In an effort to revamp my About page I am cutting and pasting the post which was originally there. That means there will be some of the same information as the previous post. Please excuse my redundancy. We are hoping to have a couple of upcoming litters. With any luck there will be some Jersey Woolie kits joining the herd. Zoe is a great mother rabbit and I am looking forward to another of her wonderful litters. Ember is also due. She is French/Satin/German mix in a lovely black torte

Rabbits and More Rabbits

And so I find myself writing a blog. Kicking and screaming, entering the digital world. I had started putting updates on the About page and that just didn't make sense, since a blog is the exact medium for updates. Which brings me back to the beginning. After all, it is spring and all about beginnings. We have two new litters, and one on the way. Zoe, our blue Jersey wooly, had two kits. One is surviving, a super fat and active blue, like mom. Log Cabin Spin in

Saturday, March 16th, Indigo Angora will be setting up a booth with Santa Creek Creations, at the Log Cabin Spin in and Fiber Fest. This is located at the Kootenai fairgrounds in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We will be brining angora and wool fibers, both dyed and undyed, as well as yarns, spinning tools, and even some rabbits. There, naturally, will be a few other goodies to be found around the tables as well. Let's hope this is a wonderful show and heralds in spring weather. Do come out and join

Panzer

Sadly, last week we lost our wonderful Panzer. He was our fiercely fuzzy boy and the father of many wonderful spinning rabbits. He is a rabbit who cannot be replaced. In the suddenness of this loss and the turn from winter to spring, I am reminded once more that our lives are change. The one constant. Often, it is not the changes which create problems, but how we react to them. Too inflexible and you may snap, too yeilding and you may be run over. Panzer, you were the best.
